At the 2026 NSPE-CA Annual Conference, on June 26, 2026, in Sacramento, CA, Jesse Schlunegger, P.E., US Army Corps of Engineers, will discuss the USCOE.

The presentation will be an update for the Sacramento District, a refresher on ways to partner with the District, the status of a few projects, and how the District is moving forward on several key topics.

Chief, Hydrology and Hydraulics Branch, Sacramento District, US Army Corps of Engineers

Jesse Schlunegger is a licensed civil engineer and Chief of the Hydrology and Hydraulic Branch, Sacramento District, US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

He has been working with USACE since 2003 on water resources, flood risk management, feasibility studies, riverine analysis and reservoir operation in the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys.
