Andrew Lee Johnson, II, P.E.
President
Andrew is a CA-licensed Professional Electrical Engineer with 25+ years in semiconductors, power systems, and public utilities, including leadership at Intel Corp. and the CA Dept. of Water Resources. He is a Senior Utilities Engineer Specialist at the CA Public Utilities Commission. His 30+ years of community service include early engineering volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and CA’s Single-family Affordable Solar Homes program. He serves on the NSPE Board of Directors as the Western & Pacific Region Director, serves as Chair of the Customer Advisory Committee for his community water utility, and has served more than 10 years coaching Little League Baseball and Softball—reflecting his commitment to mentorship and service to his profession, community, and society.
Peter Livingston, P.E.
Vice President
Peter is a California-licensed mechanical engineer with over 41 years of experience in the HVAC and energy sectors, beginning his career at consulting firms, followed by work at Hewlett-Packard, the San Diego Regional Energy Office and private practice. He entered public service with San Diego and Orange counties, managing energy efficiency, sustainability and renewable energy projects and programs. He is currently on the NSPE Educational Foundation Board and President of the CSPE Educational Foundation and has been a member of NSPE since 1984.
Chijioke Akunyili, P.E.
Treasurer
Chi is a California-licensed mechanical engineer with over 15 years of Air Quality and EHS Engineering Experience and has worked across multiple industries in the state. He began his career with the South Coast Air Quality Management District in the Engineering and Compliance office before moving to Southern California Edison, where he was responsible for Power Plant Emissions Monitoring and Compliance. He is currently with Northrop Grumman Corporation, managing the Air Quality Engineering program for the Redondo Beach Space Park facility.
Michael Ozatalar, P.E.
Immediate Past President
Michael has been with Parsons for 30 years and has held several key leadership roles within the company. Currently, Michael is the Manager of Engineering, and is responsible for all engineering staff and services in Parsons Federal Systems, which performs over $1 billion in annual revenue for the federal cyber and intelligence; infrastructure and environment; logistics, security and training; and engineering and technical services markets.

Harold is a a senior associate at Eco & Associates in Tustin. As an engineering management professional, he has spent most of his career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
